RP experience: A bit. Enough to know what I'm doing. And not be horrible at it.

Sample RP: Hali stepped into Starbucks, the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans instantly wrapping itself around her and holding her tightly. She stepped inside, holding her black, leather purse close to her side and observing the people in the cafe.

There was a middle aged man, still stunningly handsome, using a laptop and paying no attention to her. Then there was the Starbucks staff. She looked at all of them. They seemed to be bored. It was a lazy day, but it would be picking up in only minutes, Hali expected. School had just gotten out.

Hali strolled up to the counter, looking over the head of the teenage girl in front of her at the menu. She was in the mood for something sweet and was having a hard time deciding between chocolate or vanilla. Finally she made her choice.

"A vanilla bean frappuccino, please," she ordered, untwisting one of her halter straps as she said it. The girl nodded and asked her if she wanted anything else. Hali shook her head and pulled out her wallet, handing the girl the money she owed her.

She moved away from the register, sliding down the counter to the other side to watch the girl make her frap. She tapped her nails, painted black, as was fashionable these days, against the counter top, resting her head on her palm as she watched the girl.

Full Name: Hali Victoria Brooks [pronounced: hay-lee]

Grade: 12 [Senior]

Appearence: Hali is a very beautiful girl with amazing and slightly strange features. Not a bad strange, but some features you wouldn't expect to see put together on one person. Still, her unique looks make her a beauty. She has dark hair, a deep chocolate brown color. Her skin is fair and completely flawless. Her eyes are a beautiful blue, the color of the sky when it is fading into sunset. She has a small build. She's very thin and looks extremely fragile. Although she is small she is strong. She uses her looks to her advantage. People assume because she is small she is also weak. When given the chance, Hali loves to prove them wrong.

Hali's dressing style is pretty simple. She likes clothes that are casual and comfortable. You are most likely going to find her in jeans and a t-shirt. Sometimes she does like a little more complicated thing. A pretty shirt and a nice skirt. And, once in a while, she likes to go out there and be pretty. But most of the time you'll see her wearing something without much thought to it. She likes to look nice, but she won't let fashion get in the way of her comfort.

Personality: Hali is your average, everyday nice girl. She's pretty much nice to everyone she meets. She trusts people very easily, even when they give her reason not to. She always manages to see the good in people. She has a way of bringing out the good in people as well. Even when people are mean to her she responds with kindness. Hali is probably one of the nicest girls you will ever meet in your entire life. She is proud of this fact.

Although Hali is very nice, she is also very shy and quiet. She tends to keep to herself. Sometimes she has periods when she feels very outgoing, but most of the time she won't talk to anyone but her close friends. She keeps a notebook with her at all times to track her feelings, write short stories and draw. She likes to read. She's good at almost everything she does, but is very modest about it.

It takes a lot to get on Hali's bad side. But if you do, it takes a lot to get yourself back to her good side. She'll just try to stay out of your way. She doesn't like making enemies, and usually is good at preventing it. Hali is stubborn and likes giving people second chances. And third. And fourth. She believes there is good in everyone, and does her best to find it. She won't give up on something until she believes everything is done that can possibly be done.

History: Hali was born in the small town of Highland Springs, just outside of Richmond, Virginia, to Nicole and Peter Brooks. For the first four years of Hali's life the family lived happily and comfortably in their home in Highland Springs. But one day Peter lost his job, and things began going downhill from there. When Hali was five, her mother took her to live with her aunt. When Hali was seven, Nicole moved Hali and herself to Minuteson, California.

Hali always wondered why she was different. The houses around there were so big. The girls always wore pretty clothes. Everything was different from where she had used to live. She wanted to know why she lived here now. It was like a completely different world. After a few months Hali got used to her new home. It was a nicer home. She and her mother lived there together, just the two of them. She hardly ever saw her mother anymore.

Then one day Hali saw something that would change her life forever. Her mother was on the side of a bus. Her face was plastered on an ad in the window of a store. And she looked stunning. When Hali saw it she turned to her mother and screamed at her. "Why didn't you tell me you were a model?"

The truth was that Hali had been totally blind to it. She knew her mother worked long days, but she always thought she took extra shifts at the local restaurant where she worked. Finding out her mother was a model was the most magical thing that had ever happened to Hali. While she was upset with her mother for keeping this secret from her for so long, Hali was also excited at the very idea of seeing her mother's face everywhere. Now she finally understood why they lived in Minuteson.

It took a while, but Hali finally got used to living in Minuteson. She made a few friends and got through most of high school. Now there's only one year left, and who could guess what might happen?
