Piper was driving again. As the music played, the sun streamed through the window. Suddenly, the world seemed to explode. Her windshield shattered, sending glass flying everywhere. Pieces of shrapnel shot through the air as a huge force hit her from the right side. She could feel the shock of being hit in her whole body.

Everything spun as the car rolled, crushing the ceiling up into her. She threw her hands up to protect her head and they became bloodied from being torn by metal shards. The car righted itself and she collapsed on the steering wheel. She was vaguely aware of warm blood trickling down her head.

Even though she couldn't move, the thought of being sent through a wall by Shax surfaced in her mind. She took several shallow gasps as she finally gathered enough air.

The blood-curdling scream that ripped from her throat was enough to wake her. As she hurtled into the waking world, she realized that the same blood-curdling scream was issuing from her throat.

She broke down, gasping and sobbing. The tears flooded from her eyes as she dimly realized that she was safe in her bed. Leo latched onto her and she sank into the warmth of her husband's arms. Leo whispered softly to her, trying to calm her down. She could barely hear anything over the sobs that wracked her body.

Full Name: Aaron Christopher Martin.

Age: 18.

Grade: 12.

Appearance: Aaron doesn't look too extraordinary at first, but a closer look will tell you otherwise. He has pin-straight jet-black hair that he always wears swept forward and held in place with some sort of styling product. He almost never makes eye contact, but when he does, people are startled to see that they're the color of steel. His nose looks straight, but a closer inspection will tell you that it bends to the left slightly at the end. He has a stunning smile.

He has a lean build made so by 10 years of swimming (but not on the school team in Minuteston). His skin is always hovering between slightly tan and slightly pale.

Personality: He's a very quiet guy, unless he's with his friends. However, being quiet most of the time allows him to absorb everything and people-watch. He loves to do this because he can use some of what he sees. He takes a certain sick pleasure in manipulating people, but he always feels bad afterwards. He's evil with a conscience.

History: Aaron was born in Tokyo, Japan to Matthew and Jean Martin. His father was a Lieutenant in the Navy and was stationed on Honshu when his son was born. However, his father was called to duty and was supposedly killed in a submarine accident.

He spent 5 years in Japan with his mother and became fluent in Japanese. His mother, however, wanted to move back to the US so he could go to school. He attended K-6 in Ironstone, Colorado but was uprooted when his mother decided to move to California. He attended 7-10 in Los Angeles, but his life was changed forever when his mother inherited $50 million dollars from her great-grandfather, who was a very famous movie producer in the 30's and 40's. It was only passed on to her when news reached her family of her husband's death. Her great-grandfather hadn't approved of her marriage and took her out of the will unless she divorced or was widowed.

Throughout his life, his mother tried to force interests on him, but the ones that ended up sticking were swimming and piano. He swam all throughout elementary, middle and high school, except that he never joined the team once he settled in Minuteson.

With their newfound wealth, they moved to Minuteson and bought a house due to the relatively private nature of the town. He is now a senior preparing to go to Harvard.
