Kitty slipped through the heavy glass door the led from the doctor's office into the clogged blanket of humid air that was a summer evening in her home town. Instantly sweating, she placed one foot in front of the other carefully, like a dancer with her ballet-appropriate shoes. She glanced around the small parking lot; it was nearly empty but for a few desolate cars. She smiled and glanced back into the office, making sure no one was coming out behind her.

Music started to play in her head and she mouthed the words in silence as she stepped forward and then--after a small moment of silence in her head--started to twirl. She threw her arms out and let herself pull from gravity as her feet carried her around and around again. She closed her eyes and felt the air rush through her blowing hair and the folds of her skirt.

After the intenseness in her song faded she broke her spinning off and not-so-gracefully took a few steps in the opposite direction than she intended, almost losing her footing in the process. She laughed to herself and started to hum the song for the audience of her, herself, and she as her feet became solid once again and her vision righted itself. She slowly walked on, breathing in deeply as she enjoyed the silence that solitude brought her.

Full Name: Gemma Polly Spektor

Appearance: Gemma has long, straight dirty blonde hair. She's about 5'6 with a thin frame. She has a defined jawbone and long, thin eyebrows. She had full lips, and her eyes are a steely blue color most of the time, though sometimes they change colors. She's got creamy skin and a clear complextion.

Gemma wears whatever looks best on her; usually favoring the color pink. She doesn't stumble or hesitate in any of her heels, and she is always wearing makeup when she's in public; if she's not, something is REALLY wrong; maybe the world is coming to an end.

She likes to show off what she's got.

Personality: The thing you have to understand about Gemma is that she's spoiled. Her parents didn't spend that much time with her when she was growing up, and as a result she got whatever she wanted from them. Because she got what she wanted when she was younger, she expected it when she was older too. As she grew, if people tried to defy her, she found ways to get what she wanted anyway. That has turned her into what she is today.

Gemma is the Queen of B.itches. She's fluent in the language of rumors, and she knows how to ruin anyone's life. She's willing to fight for anything she wants, even boys. After all, all is fair in love and war. She is the Mistress of Deceit. She can tell a lie to anyone without flinching or blinking an eyelid. That's why she's on the good side of so many teachers; that and she keeps her grades at B's and A's.

The truth is that she doesn't like ruining people's lives; she only does it when she feels threatened. She's afraid to stop being bitchy in case she loses the attention and control it brings for her. She's become so caught up in her own lies that it's impossible for her to break out of them. If she stopped acting like she does, she might get hurt, plus, she'd lose the control she has over people.

One more random fact about her: the sure-fire way of knowing that she is really, truly, deeply upset is to find her eating chicken noodle soup. That's her comfort food.

History: Gemma is an only child. When she was born, her parents were both at the peek point in their careers. Her mother had taken time off to raise Gemma for a while, but once Gemma moved on to baby food, Gemma's mother tried to get back into her work like her husband was. Gemma had a nanny take care of her for a while. The nanny, given no strict instructions as to what NOT to let Gemma do, let Gemma get away with almost everything. Switching between nannies every few years, that was how Gemma made it into her teenager years.

Already a mistress of make up and fashion, Gemma was an outcast at her elementary school. Once she hit puberty in Junior High, boys started looking at her more and more. She learned to use what she had to get what she wanted with them, and when she moved to Minuteston she was great at pulling strings with children as well as adults. Since then she's made her way to the top in high school.
