Sample RP: Hali had to check her hair one last time in the mirror. She'd made her way into Daytek already and snuck into the ladies room to go and check how she looked in the mirror. She'd done it about thirty times at home, and another ten on her way over here, but she still felt like there might be something missing. No matter how much she looked, she couldn't spot exactly what she was missing, though. Why was she so afraid of how she looked all of the sudden? She'd seen Kade tons of times, and not one of those times had she obsessed over how she looked as much as she was doing tonight. She re-did her make-up twice before finally deciding it would have to do, even if it wasn't totally perfect. She'd spent days going through practically every item of clothing she owned, looking for something that would be suitable for going to a club and seeing a guy that she liked. It was almost a date, only it wasn't, because Hali was the only one looking at it that way.

Hali was trying so hard to pick out bad things about Kade so she could talk herself out of liking him. This proved to be harder than she imagined it to be. For every bad thing she picked about Kade, there were two good things that made up for it. So she hadn't seen him in a few days and was excited about seeing him again. Very excited. She had been looking forward to it for days. Ever since they'd made plans at CDP, Hali was counting the minutes until she'd get to see Kade again.

While Hali tried to keep herself together about seeing this...meeting, I guess you could call it...with Kade, she had to remind herself of the people that might be there as well. The first thing she'd done when she got home was find Nick and ask him if he was working that night. The answer was yes, which Hali was very thankful for. If he was working, that meant Hali and Kade could have the night to themselves without any interruptions from Nick. Hali, however, couldn't be so sure they wouldn't get interrupted by some of Kade's other friends. Perhaps Rachel would decide to come and pay Kade a visit. That was turn out awkwardly. Hali didn't want an awkward night. She wanted a magical one.

Hali sighed and stared at herself in the mirror. Her make-up was done well, although not perfect. Her eyeliner was a little thicker than usual, exaggerating her eyes. She had on mascara and pale lip stick, as well as lip gloss, and foundation that made her skin look smooth and flawless, as well as an even shade of peach. Hali had picked out a hot pink halter top, that was really more like a tube top with strings attached at the top. The top was tight and showed off her figure, ending right above her navel. A pair of shiny black leather pants fit nicely on her hips and ended mid-calf. They were practically a second skin they were so tight. She also had on black, leather boots that met the pants where they ended, so it almost looked like all one piece. In addition, she added two silver bangles on her left wrist, along with tiny silver hoops in her ears. She'd fixed her hair into a loose ponytail. Her hair rested on her shoulder, some of it falling behind it and some in front. It had taken Hali days to decide on this outfit, and she hoped that Kade would like it.

Hali sighed as she brushed her fingers though her hair. It was now or never. If she hadn't developed this stupid crush on him, she would have been out there an hour ago, talking with him and laughing with him. Just having a good time. But now that Hali did like him, things felt different. Hali always wanted to look her best around him. She wanted to make sure that she'd get noticed by him. She didn't think that would be a problem in the outfit she was wearing. And, as long as Nick didn't see, everything would be okay. "You can do this, Hali," Hali assured herself silently. She looked into her eyes in the mirror and said to herself, "Kade's seen you plenty of times before. He's not going to think any differently of you. You look pretty damn hot, after all." While Hali had a small burst of confidence she grabbed her purse and made her way out of the bathroom and toward the bar, where she expected Kade to be. She wasn't sure if his shift was over or not, but it didn't hurt to check.

Full Name: Sydney Danielle Blake

Age: 19

Appearance: Sydney is a very thin, but very attractive girl. She has long, lean legs and thin arms. Her skin is slightly tanned, and most of the time acne free. Her hair ranges from honey blonde to a light brown, and is curled most of the time. Sometimes she wears it straight and styles it, but for the most part it is kept curly. Her eyes are a gold, and most of the time kept free of make-up. She hardly ever wears make-up except for lip gloss. She has a heart shaped face, and lean body.

Sydney usually keeps her clothing style simple and comfortable. Jeans and a tee shirt suit her perfectly. Sometimes she likes to wear skirts to show off her legs, but usually she’s fine with jeans. She has a kind of punk/goth edge to her at times, but she just wears what she likes. She doesn’t try to follow trends. She is her own person, and one of her ways of expressing that is through her clothes.

Personality: Sydney is a pretty laid back person. She doesn’t worry about things too much, and by doing that often avoids getting stressed out. She is very friendly, and very outgoing, but she has a bad streak that runs through her. She isn’t afraid to pick a fight with someone who deserves it. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes is right, and she will do what it takes to get her point through. She isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, because she feels that she has to be true to herself.

She respects her friends more than anybody else. If you’re not her friend, she may be nice to you, but it doesn’t mean she won’t turn on you. She doesn’t mind having enemies, but if she has a friendship with someone she cherished it greatly, and she will do almost anything to keep it. Sydney likes to have fun.

Sydney is a hopeless romantic, which may have something to do with her being born on Valentine’s Day. She likes all of the traditional things, and is still trying to find her prince charming. Although she has been hurt in her life, Sydney has learned to forgive and forget, knowing that pain is just a part of life.

She is very outgoing, and she isn’t afraid to go up to anyone and talk to them. She knows that you’ll get rejected sometimes, but it doesn’t bother her. She isn’t worried about making many friends, and popularity means little to her. She knows people hate her, and she knows some people are jealous of her. She’s the exact same way. Everyone’s going to be jealous once in a while, and it means little to Sydney to try and make people jealous of her.

History: Sydney was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 14 to Michael and Erin Blake. They moved out of Arizona to Denver when Sydney was two years old. Michael and Erin tried to have another baby, but they soon found out Erin couldn’t. Michael began working late hours trying to support his little family, and eventually found a new job in LA. The family moved to a flat in LA when Sydney was seven years old, and Michael became a famous producer.

Although the family now had enough money to be happy, Michael was hardly ever around anymore. At first Sydney thought that he was working, but by the time she was twelve years old her mother had sat her down and told her that she was going to have another little sister or brother. By this time, Sydney knew about pregnancy, so she asked her mother if she was pregnant. Her mother told her that her little brother or sister was going to be a half-sibling, because her father was having the baby with another woman. Sydney was heartbroken that her father could do something like that.

Soon after Michael moved out of the house and moved in with the young actress he had gotten pregnant. Erin and Sydney stayed in LA for the next three years, until the actress (Aly Cross) had the baby, and the divorce papers were finalized. After Michael and Aly’s quiet wedding, which Sydney attended after much persuasion from her mother, Erin and Sydney moved away from LA.

During the time Sydney had spent in LA, she had begun to hang out with the wrong crowd. She did it mostly to get over what her father had done to her mother, but she got into some bad things because of it. She began drinking when she was only fourteen, and is currently an alcoholic. She began smoking as well, and although she tried drugs, she didn’t stick with them. Erin tried to get Sydney help with her addictions, but so far she hasn’t been able to succeed.

When Sydney was fifteen, Erin took her to Minuteson to live. Her father still pays for basically everything as his way of saying “sorry”, but it hardly makes a difference to Sydney. Her mother got a good paying, long term job, and the family has been living comfortably for the past four years. She used to go to LA a weekend out of every month to go and visit her father and his family, but when she turned eighteen she stopped going so often. Sometimes she takes the train down to LA to visit her half brother, Eric Blake, and she likes Aly enough. She has forgiven her father, but still sometimes has a hard time being around him.
